Vic sat back on the rock, letting her legs dangle over the edge. It was a nice night, not too cold, not too hot. She swung her legs a little and hummed, watching the sunset. A noise from the water alerted hr attention and she leaned forward, looking downward. “Hey,” She called, looking around, “Someone there?”
Melody heard the humming while swimming and grinned when she saw who it was. Now that she was a siren, she had no heart to spare her friend. She quietly swam towards her, careful to keep her tail hidden. Once she was close enough, she purposely made a sound to get her attention. “Oh! Hey Vic! Didn’t expect to see you here!” she replied with a laugh, keeping her voice normal.
Vic grinned down at her friend and moved to lay on her stomach, dangling her hands down. “Hey, darlin’! I’m just taking a little vacation.” She said, resting her head on her arms, “What’s goin’ on with you?”
“Oh just the usual. Swimming around, chilling out.” she replied, waving her hand around dismissively then chuckled lightly. “Jump in the water and swim with me! You look bored!”
“Always a good time!” Vic said, chuckling a little. “Oh, you know I would. I don’t have a suit with me, though. Don’t know what I was thinking, coming to the beach without a swim suit.”
Melody laughed and poked her forehead. “Silly Vic. Whovomes to the beach without a swim suit?” She grinned and grabbed her friend’s hands, smirking deviously. “Don’t make me pull you in!”
Vic shrugged. “Apparently I do.” She laughed, then gasped, pretended to be appalled. “You wouldn’t!” She laughed, gripping Melody’s wrists and grinning.
“You know I would.” She narrowed her eyes playfully, threatening to pull her down any moment. The good Melody inside was begging her not to hurt her, but the siren easily pushed her back. No way Melody, she’s mine now. And with that, she pulled.

Andreas heard the humming of the siren’s voice. He knew what she was trying to do. Snap out of it, don’t let her get to you, Andreas thought. “Don’t let her get to you,” he softly repeated to himself. But it was too late, Andreas became hypnotized by the song.
Melody smirked, singing louder while swimming backwards to lead him deeper into the water. Perfect. He’ll be mine in no time. But while she was doing this, the good Melody inside was screaming, pleading her to stop. The siren growled inwardly, drowning out her cries to focus on what she was doing. Shut up, goody goody. I’m in control now.
